17.03.2021

The SME Brexit Fund has opened for grant application we are delighted to report. The link to the fund is here. Grants for up to £2000 can be applied for to cover VAT advice and support for your business to resolve the VAT issues that Brexit will have created for your VAT accounting processes; VAT guidance you need on what you sell and what you are importing and staff training on the VAT rules that staff now need to understand when you import and export goods.

We’ve received many calls and emails from SME's struggling in these areas with the VAT changes and the opening of this fund will be welcome news. Centurion can scope out the required costings to deliver the VAT support required in your business so do get in touch as this fund will be heavily subscribed and applications need to be in by the 30th June 2021.

Centurion can support through VAT advice on specific business related Brexit issues – importing goods, postponed VAT accounting impact, retention of export evidence issues, selling goods online implications and can also deliver bespoke VAT awareness training on Importing and Exporting VAT rules in 2021 – our next open session is listed for the 6th April – you can book here
