Annual Centurion Charity Quiz

25.07.2017

The 8th June was a significant date in the diary for the Centurion VAT team and our many friends across the Welsh business community – yes it was our Annual Charity Quiz! There may have been a general election polling day as well I admit – but we were having more fun I think it’s safe to say.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported our 3rd annual Quiz in aid of The Wallich. We raised a fabulous £1,388 for The Wallich which does fantastic work supporting homeless and vulnerable people across Wales.

A big Shout Out to the CBI Wales team who on their 1st appearance at the quiz walked away our 2017 quiz winners.  Equally delighted with our “Wally” (Our purple gnome) award for their effort in not quite (shall we say) coming in at the top, were the auspiciously named “And in First Place” team from Eversheds Sutherland LLP – come back next year guys to try the name out again!

‎Mike Cowley, Fundraising and Partnerships Senior Manager, The Wallich was most appreciative of all your support,

“We’re really delighted with the success of the Centurion VAT fundraising quiz and are hugely grateful for their continued support over the last 3 years. The annual quiz night has become an event we all look forward to and the £1,388 raised by Centurion VAT and the teams at this year’s quiz will make a real difference to the lives of people affected by homelessness across South Wales. The money raised will help us to get people off the streets, keep people off the streets and create opportunities for people as they begin to re-build their lives and find a route out of homelessness.”
